Clipping machines, clips and loops are tailored to each other as a system, and quality-oriented meat-product producers expect requirements of modern quality assurance to be met. SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS checks the quality of Poly-clip System's clip-closure systems, and with the conferment of the INSTITUT FRESENIUS Quality Seal confirms that these products are of excellent quality.

Before issue of the seal the mutual quality understanding between SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS and Poly-clip System was first clarified, the places of production were audited and, last but not least, both the product and the raw materials used were subjected to intensive basic examination. The latter takes into consideration both the legal prerequisites and the prerequisites additionally defined by SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS. During the period of the contract regular quality controls ensure that the high quality level is continuously confirmed by an independent party.

 

Requirements for conferment of the SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS Quality Seal:

  • Ongoing unannounced checks on site – independently of and in addition to the company's own quality assurance
  • Checking of raw materials for freedom from residues
  • Analytical examination, including with regard to colour migration and freedom from heavy metals
  • Auditing of the place of production
