Until now you had to decide what cleaning products to use - either ecological cleaners which often do not have a strong cleaning performance, or classical cleaners which offer excellent cleanliness, however, their environmental compatibility does not look too good. Thus, an increasing number of consumers are facing this decision.
For years now, more and more people maintain an environmentally aware and health conscious life style without wanting to renounce their quality of life. Contrary to the "ecological product wave” of the 80s, today’s modern cleaning products must combine product quality, environmental compatibility and attractive packaging design in order to do justice to the demanding and critical consumer. In order to achieve a satisfying cleaning result, cleaning products need tensides, acids and solvents.
In classical products these ingredients are often drawn from crude oil. With Terra Activ, however, 85% of the ingredients are on average based on renewable raw materials, such as palm kernel oil and sugar beets. Thus, Terra Activ combines extraordinary cleaning performance with a special amount of environmental compatibility.

The ideal balance between performance and special environmental compatibility, due to a high percentage of ingredients based on renewable raw materials, was also confirmed by SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS GmbH. Because of this Terra Activ was awarded with the INSTITUT FRESENIUS Quality Seal.
Basis for the awarding of the INSTITUT FRESENIUS Quality Seal are the following regular quality tests:

• Examination of the product ingredients regarding critical components as well as regular cleaning performance tests of all Terra Activ cleaners


• Analysis of the descaling capacity in comparison to standard bath cleaners (Terra Activ Bad, Terra Activ WC)


• Performance test of feature „brilliance, free from streaks“ (Terra Activ Glas)


• Examination of the fat solvent capacity compared with standard dish washing liquids (Terra Activ Geschirr)


• Corrosion tests


• Testing the material’s compatibility on porcelain surfaces


• Verification whether renewable raw materials are used in all Terra Activ cleaners


• Annual audit of the manufacturing sites
