Ariel Central Eastern Europe has entrusted SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS, being an independent and competent laboratory service provider, with regular quality tests in the washing powder assortment. These tests even go beyond the legally required minimum. In addition, SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS also carries out performance tests for Ariel’s advertisement purposes and certifies that the advertisement claims correspond with facts.

SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS offers integrated and tailored solutions to the particular needs of customers. These include not only technical, but also chemical, physical, microbiological and biological tests and topics which are always state of the art.

Basis for the awarding of the quality seal and the certificate "regular quality control":

• intensive audit of the production facilities
• cleaning performance test
• stain removal performance test
• application-technological test in terms of secondary effects such as:
  • degree of whiteness after one washing cycle
  • degree of whiteness after several washing cycles
  • encrustation on textiles
• packaging declaration

Ariel passed the thorough tests of SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS GmbH and was awarded with the quality seal on January 1st, 2005.

Ariel is recommended for the entire white laundry (from 30 °C up to 95 °C), bright coloreds (from 30 °C up to 60 °C) and regular colored laundry (from 30°C up to 40 °C with Ariel Color).
